Thursday, November 29, Richard Bercy the President of the National Federation of Haitian Caisses Populaires (FECAPH – le Levier) and Mrs. Anna Lipchitz, Director of the French Development Agency (AFD) in Haiti, marked, within the sight of José Gomez, Ambassador of France Haiti, two financing understandings for an aggregate sum of 2.5 million euros.
The principal concerns an AFD credit of what might be compared to €2 million in Gourdes and the second a give of €500,000 committed to reinforcing the limit of the money related foundation.
This venture points, from one perspective, to reinforce Levier’s credit associations and, then again, to enhance the strength of the agrarian segment and certain segments, especially notwithstanding environmental change. This help will empower FECAPH Le Levier to structure and support medium-term financing in the agrarian and agroforestry parts.
